Nature experiences
Anduze is also called the "gateway to the Cevennes", and is the gateway to the Cevennes National Park, which is one of the oldest and most magnificent in France. Here in our area you will find dozens of hiking routes of all degrees of difficulty, often with formidable views and through small, authentic villages and the ubiquitous vineyards. The national park is also home to free-grazing sheep, goats and cattle, often even with a shepherd to keep watch. The Gardon River's crystal clear waters invite you to swim, and there are many good bathing spots in the immediate vicinity of La Tour de Pezene.

Special nature experiences
Hiking
There are thousands of kilometres of hiking trails in the national park of all levels of difficulty in the surrounding area. Several hiking trails start from Anduze itself, of which the two hikes to the two mountains surrounding the town are particularly noteworthy, both of which reward you with magnificent views. There are plenty of other hiking trails within a short distance of Anduze.
La patrimoinie
Anduze is located in the Cevennes National Park, which is known for its special "patrimoinie", which is probably best translated as cultural heritage. On walks you can see shepherds walking with their flocks of sheep and goats, Old, characteristic farms and houses in small village communities can be seen in valleys and hillsides, and in the markets you can see in detail what has been significant for people for many generations The Anduzians are proud of their local foods, which can often be traced back to time immemorial, for example the salty goat cheese, Pelardon, olive oil, honey, chestnuts or one of the many local homemade sausages.
Bathing
In the small town of Corbès, about 2 km from Anduze, there are fine swimming opportunities in the Gardon River.
At Mialet there is a gorge where the swimming opportunities are also great, and if you prefer pools, there are beautiful and well-maintained public outdoor swimming pools in Saint Jean du Gard and Saint Hippolyte de Fort in the summer, both of which are about a 20-minute drive from Anduze. Both have pools for both adults and children. For the little ones, there is also a water park in Anduze itself.
Canoeing and Canoeing
In the small town of Collias on the Gardon River, canoes are available for hire, where you can sail several routes, including to the Pont du Gard. Especially the route through Gorges du Gardon must be mentioned with its magnificent views, meanders and clear waters.
In the area you can also experience canyoning, where you go up the river with a guide, often in a wetsuit, and descend canyons and waterfalls. A very special experience!
