The market town
Anduse
Anduze was founded in the Middle Ages, and there is something historic about the town's market, which presents a bouquet of the best products the area's farmers and craftsmen can produce. Every Thursday year-round, stalls are set up from early morning, and when the traders flock, you immediately feel the very special market atmosphere. At the market you will find special local products such as wines and cheeses, chestnuts and honey as well as the characteristic sausages from the area and a wealth of seasonal vegetables. On Sundays there is a flea market, which is a mixture of fine antiques and all sorts of trinkets from attics and cellars in one beautiful pear mash. Anduze's city park is a recreational spot where thoughts can fly and the hustle and bustle of everyday life can be put to rest.
Anduze is a lively town with plenty of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Small squares and squares are abundant, and there is a very special atmosphere to browse the shops in the small alleys followed by a cup of café au lait, a glass of white wine or a cold beer in one of the town's cafes before dinner in a typical French restaurant with a focus on local produce.
A lively and charming city; The video below shows with pictures more than many words can explain...
